Personal Ecommerce Website

The Idea

– Branded Site Design
– Ecommerce Integration
– Services Showcase
– Stories Showcase
– Newsletter Signup

The website had three main goals. 1. Effectively communicate available services, 2. Showcase interesting stories and 3. Sell crafted resources and visuals.

All of this needed to be bundled into an engaging user experience filled with creative interactions that would seamlessly complement the content.

Each goal had to be achieved by creating a series of custom modular systems that allow content to effectively populate throughout their respective sections of the website.

The Production & Conclusion

Focusing early on the branding guideline allowed more time for the production heavy tasks. A comprehensive mobile and desktop template design was developed in Adobe XD giving clear insight on possible programming options. Once the design was finalized a balance between user experience and user interface became clear.

Taking full advantage of the CMS, I coded specific functionality that would easily modify all areas related to the changed content. Knowing how image heavy the content would become, I proactively programmed unobtrusive scripts that keep load-times fast for new and returning viewers. Exploring the user experience early on in the design allowed ecommerce integration to naturally merge with the homepage content.

Exploring 3D product design

Fictitious Branding Concept

Concept

– Custom Illustration
– Infinite Topographic Map
– Location Dependent Subject
– 3D Rendering

The fictitious drink “MAHEY” is derived from the Maah Daah Hey Trail in western North Dakota. Each render depicts a shared bison illustration, and an infinite topographic map.

Flavors gain their name from a location found on the Maah Daah Hey Trail along with the geo-location fingerprint label.

Renders are staged with unique lighting and model placement to highlight specific features in the product design.

Observations

The use of 3D renderings has become far more accessible to businesses looking to enhance their visual presence! Compared to the initial production of product designs that had potentially days waisted on physical examples. Modern methods are presented in a matter of hours after clients draft approval!

Exploring deeper into 3D production is a must for those who advertise via digital or physical media. If you have interest in exploring how your business could profit from 3D production.

North Dakota Tourism Photoshoot

The Shoot

– Three Days
– 30+ Locations
– 1000 miles

A three day photoshoot showcasing the many adventures to be had across McKenzie County, North Dakota. Our goal, to grow the clients image library for their website and marketing needs.

We explored many beautiful sights of western North Dakota during the Fall season. Showcasing family friendly biking trails, hunting excursions, and lake side fun.

Local commerce was also a top priority for our time. With new and established businesses showing off their best! Local breweries, hopping dinners, family focused retail, and many more thrive in McKenzie County.
